Best of Wedding Wear From India Couture Week 2019

This year, India Couture Week 2019 based on element – Romance, Rhythm and craftsmanship, and the selected top designers are Amit Aggarwal, Falguni Shane Peacock, Gaurav Gupta, Pankaj & Nidhi, Rahul Mishra, Reynu Taandon, Shyamal & Bhumika, Sulakshana Monga, Suneet Varma and Tarun Tahiliani.

Amit Aggarwal who opened the show ICW 2019, which is historic shows which will stand in a new idiom of regalia. While the man who has an artist’s impression, Tarun Tahiliani presented the Grand Finale to India Couture Week 2019.

A designer who is known for his engineering innovative designs, this time his collection Lumen theme is for environmental sustainability. He used recycled material to make it into a new language of couture. Instead of using zari, beads, stone, he used recycled polymer in a series of weightless ultra-fine tulle lace, organza for the ensemble.

Amit Aggarwal couture is an attempt to redefine bridal outfits that match the olden day’s sensibility. He used vibrant colors like the color palette of emerald, petrol, purple, and plum, the hues moved into neutrals of gold, blush, silver, and ivory with a mix of neon tones.

Bollywood Lust Fame Kiara Advani walked the ramp as the showstopper. She stunned in hot red lehenga with metallic effect, her red metallic touch blouse design in deep v-neck grabbed all attention. His collection set a trend for the upcoming wedding season.

Suneet Verma ICW 2019 Collection – “Amara”

Suneet Varma collection is a recreation of traditional bridal wear showcase on the second day. His Couture Amara means Light within, Suneet Verma designer collection for ICW 2019 sets a major goal for the modern bride and bridesmaids.

He presented 52 outfits, including lehengas, sarees as well as contemporary wear. Suneet used intricate embroidery with beadwork, Swarovski crystals, mirror work, and hand embroidery. He used Indian silhouettes, traditional motifs, and applique on fabrics like satin, silk, net, and Georgette. Suneet Varma collections are not limited to heavy embroidery, but also add a trending and romantic ruffles to bring uniqueness and style in bridal wear collection.

3rd day of Indian Couture week 2019 nailed by designer Pankaj and Nidhi. Duos collection was all about the modern vibes. The Mosaic is highlighted with handwoven applique details and inlay work.

Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari walked the ramp as the show-stopper for the designer duo. She looked jaw-dropping stunning in one off-shoulder icy pink and one side bishop sleeve blouse with a shiny golden skirt. His collection was spotted in nude and pink tone with the effect of glitters, which will perfect for sangeet and bachelor parties for brides and bridesmaids outfits.

Rahul Mishra’s ICW 2019 Collection “Malhausi-Monaco”

Ace designer Rahul Mishra Collection in ICW 2019 was an amalgamation of his recent trip to Monaco and  Malhausi. His collection was in Ivory and pastel color also Rahul showcased classic red bridal lehenga with zardozi work. Rahul Mishra collection 2019 embraced the trend of pastel and floral in this Autumn Wedding season.

He has used Indian silhouettes with heavy floral motifs woven with intricate multi-color hand embroideries, 3D hand embroideries, and appliques. The latter half was a perfect mixture of a darker color with dazzling embroidery on the silhouettes.

His collection includes lehengas, anarkalis with jackets, sarees with dupattas and gowns, and kurta-churidaar. Collection intricate with hand-embroidered Nehru jackets, provide in silk organzas, silk crepe, and MUGA silk with a shimmering, glossy texture.

Sulkasna Monga tout ensemble was all about traditional grandeur and heritage-inspired from Varanasi. With lots of traditional colors green, red, orange and pink, and detailing work of motifs in lehenga and gown. Her collection’s key feature is given a Vedic chant that has been embroidered in the creation that lineup.

Malaika turned showstopper for Sulakshana Monga, in green-yellow lehenga. It had a trail pleasing the vibes of sunset view of holy city Varanasi. Her lehenga is intricate with heavy zardosi work. Which used to weave calligraphy in various art found in the city onto the lehenga.

Shyamal & Bhumika Collection, title “The Renaissance Muse”

Shyamal  Bhumika collection inspired by the Renaissance era. The collection was in collaboration with Jewels of Jaipur by Ankita Lodha. The collection has the flavor of the 15th century.

Kirti Sanon walked the ramp as the show-stopper for the designer duo. She wore a specially-conceptualized pastel beige-colored raw silk lehenga. Her Lehenga inspired by the Renaissance period, with a one-shoulder puffed sleeve blouse and tulle dupatta. Lehenga featured resham threads, embroidered and embellished with shimmer, sequins, sparkle, and glass pipes.

Reynu Tandon Collection, the title “Savannah Saga”

Reynu Tandon collection divides into 3 parts, color palette – from powder lilacs, old rose, and mint greens. Her collection is addressed, modern brides. She amalgamates the western style with our traditional garments as a perfect cocktail. Reynu Tandon collection inspired from Lake Tahoe, called Savannah saga.

Her collection includes mirror work lehengas with plunging neckline blouses, Anarkali jackets with skirts. The Cholis were in satin halter-neck, off-shoulder, and high-neck blouses with thread embroidery lehengas. Reynu’s collection completed by Archana Aggarwal Timeless Jewellery. His collection Bloom addressed to the young bride. The model was wearing a white net dress with a sticker of “showstopper chic”, and she covered face with a net, he passed a beautiful message to all that show is not about the face but about the outfits.
