Priyanka Chopra is another Bollywood beauty who married her prince charming, Nick Jonas. Priyanka has made India proud again to marry American Singer Nicks. She begins her career at the age of 18 years. When she competed in the Miss World Competition, the winner in 2000, and was the fifth Miss India to ever do. She was also crowned Miss World Continental Queen of Beauty of Asia & Oceania in the same year.
After a whirlwind romance, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied a knot in her home country of India. All the ceremonies took place in Jodhpur the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace. Their love is adorable and makes us believe in love. Priyanka and Nicks had two ceremonies to celebrate their marriage and each included a full ensemble.
After tying the knot in two elaborate ceremonies at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas are hosting their first wedding reception at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi.
Stunning Bride at her Delhi Reception
The couple looked like a made for each other in heaven in their reception outfits. Priyanka Chopra was seen in a champagne-hued embellish Falguni Shane Peacock Lehenga Choli, her lehenga completed by 80 craftsmen took more than 12,000 man-hours to design the silver foil work and champagne 75 feet (22.86 m) long trailed lehenga embroidered with millions of sparkling crystals, bore motifs of elephants and birds. She chose a long-sleeved choli that highlighted the designer beading work. Priyanka donned a diamond neckpiece and dangler, she also pinned few white roses into a hair bun completing. We couldn’t take our eyes off the dark color of her Mehendi and her sindoor. She maintains the tradition of a newlywed bride.
On the other hand, the groom looked dapper in a velvet blue tux and trousers with a bow. Our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also attended the event to congratulate the couple. The last time our PM had attended a B-Town celebrity’s wedding was Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding reception. Our PM had also given both of them roses as gifts. Turns out, he did the same for the newly-wedded Priyanka and Nick as well.
Hindu Wedding
For the Hindu wedding, Priyanka opted for a typical red Sabyasachi lehenga. Featuring a long embroidered skirt with a matching cropped top and veil, she took 110 embroiderers from Calcutta, India. Custom-made by the designer with his aesthetic brilliance, the lehenga featured hand-cut organza flowers take 3,720 hours to create, French knots in silk floss and layers of thread work.
Adding a personal touch to her ensemble, the bride had her hubby and her parent’s names sewn into the waistband of her skirt in her native language. She completed her look with a dazzling pear-shaped diamonds set and another necklace. Had a featuring a 16-carat oval-shaped diamond drop as maangtika. A perfect blend of French embroidery with gorgeous jewelry and western-inspired veil, the blushing bride looked breathtaking on her big day.
On the Other hand, Jonas, adorn a traditional Indian outfit with a turban and a hand-quilted golden silk Sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa. His rose-cut kalgi and Syndicate diamond necklace are from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection adding elegance in his personality.
Western Catholic marriage
For their Western marriage, Priyanka and Nick, both wore custom designs White Net Gown by American designer, Ralph Lauren. Ralph has designed only three wedding dresses in 50 years- one for his daughter, his daughter-in-law, and his niece.
The bride was a vision in her dream wedding gown which was an exquisite hand-beaded and hand -embroidery dress with floral and scroll motifs. With the Feature scalloped sleeves, lace-effect tulle appliques, a high-neck collar. Her attire had a long tulle veil that reached 75 feet (22.86 m) and custom Jimmy Choo shoes. Her Strapless column dress made up of 2,380,000 mother-of-pearl sequins. It took a total, 1,826 hours to complete.
Priyanka’s bridal look deserving of pages in a fairy-tale. The bride even got eight words and phrases hand-stitch on to the gown including Jonas’ full name, the wedding date, and her parent’s name. She had a lace of her mother-in-law’s wedding dress sewn into her dress.

Her better half had a piece of fabric from his blushing bride gown couture in his black Tuxedo with the words “My Jaan”. He looks dashing in his outfits.
Sangeet Ceremony
Our Desi girl was draped in a stunning fully hand-embroidered sequins saree in gold and silver, with a glittery blouse by duos Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. She accessorized with a Shiny & bright diamond choker paired with earrings and bangles that added the final touches to her glamorous look her minimal nude tones makeup, and her one-sided parted hair gives complete charm into her beauty. While Nick, his looks are charming and classy in Silk solid Kurta and Jacket in peacock blue with the white silk bottom.
Sophie Turner, Peecee’s Sister-in-law-to-be, looks dapper in red embroidered lehenga, outfits designed by duos Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla. She completed her ethereal look with maangteeka and juttis. She became an attraction part of the Priyanya Sangeet ceremony. As she danced in her own way and wins all hearts at the Sangeet bash.
Mehendi Ceremony
In her Mehendi Ceremony, Priyanka looked ethereal in her outfits, she adorns a vision in a fabulously traditional, fluorescent-colored lehenga which is the vintage of ace designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla collection at ASJK. She teamed with heirloom Jewellery crafted by SABOO using rubies that were collected over generations. Priyanka completed her appearance with a pair of Gold and Silver juttis by Needledust. The groom, Nick Jonas, looked elegant and adorable in aqua Bakhia kurta and jutthis.
