Wedding dresses play a significant role in every bride’s life. When it comes to marriage we cannot resist the temptation of being the most beautiful bride in the world & we understand you & want to help you, on your quest of finding the perfect wedding dress for you & for your mother & best friends (bridesmaids).
There are many blogs available online which tells you what shape of lehenga will suit best for your body etc… But there aren’t any blogs who tell you how many styles of lehenga are available in the market & what is the option which you could choose to wear on your Wedding Day instead of Lehenga & Saree.
We just want to say “Not matter what body size, shape or type you are, it doesn’t matter unless you are comfortable with what you’re wearing & that makes you happy from inside not others from outside” So, let’s take a look…
Your first option – Sarees:

Sarees that look Elegant and at the same time Royal. Sari is symbolizing of respect in Indian Femininity. From well-known celebs to politicians they all prefer to wear Sarees for special occasions. Saree comes with a verity of style, designs, color, embroidery. It is the most versatile product in the world that can be draped in many styles and sarees make so many forms (take a look at the most popular styles of saree draping).

In Sarees, we have lehenga Style Saree, a lehenga style saree is normally 4.5 meters to 5.5 meters long. To wear this type of saree you don’t need to make pleats, unlike your normal sari. This style of saree comes with pre-stitched lehenga so just need to simply ‘tuck and drape’ easy and beautiful.
Your second option – Lehenga Choli:
Lehenga Choli comes with different styles itself, let’s take a look at them.

Circular Lehengas are one of the oldest traditional styles in lehenga. The Lehenga has extreme volume and starts with numerous pleats at the hem that finally diffuse as one goes down the flare. This lehenga has a flare and forms a complete circle at the hem, that’s why called circular. Tip (too much embroidery on this type of lehenga will not be a good choice).

A-Line Lehenga Style: This lehenga has A-line hem which forms a perfect A. The lehenga is fitted at the waist and flares out to the bottom. This style of lehenga gives you a fairy-tale effect.

This lehenga style called Kalidar. It consists of horizontal panels of fabrics attached along with the flare of the lehenga hence the volume of the flare is increased at the bottom. Also, a contrasting set of fabrics is used to give colorful designs that give different look to these lehengas, takes a look at them.

This is called Fish Cut Lehenga Style: Inspired by mermaids, these lehengas are close-fitted at the knees and flare from the calves in the form of a fishtail. These lehengas are fitted at the hips and the waist and hence must be worn with a proper bodysuit beneath.

Straight Cut Lehenga Style: has a straight skirt that flows along the body curves and doesn’t flare out like the usual lehengas. This one is the most versatile option and goes well with almost all the body types.
Your third option – Salwar Kameez:

Salwar Kameez: Are the good option to wear in place of Sari or lehenga choli. Floor-length salwar kameez can be worn at Reception, Engagement, or other wedding dresses functions.
Your fourth option – Gown:

Wedding Gowns/Bridesmaid Gowns: This is a good option for bridesmaids gowns or at your own reception or sangeet sandhya.
